The current focus of his efforts is on email classification for work orchestration and automation. He channels his wealth of expertise in natural language processing to explore viable options, and challenges his research team to find practical solutions that drive change in IBM products, including Watson Orchestrate. He emphasizes the importance of his students working on industry prototypes, in addition to documenting their findings through research papers.
