To remove the riser card assembly:

1. Turn off the HMC and peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords.
2. Remove the cover. (Refer to Removing and Replacing the Cover.)
3. If an adapter is installed in the riser card assembly, disconnect any cables connected to the adapter.
4. Grasp the riser-card assembly at the rear edge and lift to remove the riser-card assembly.
5. Place the riser-card assembly on a flat, static-protective surface.
6. If an adapter is present, carefully grasp the adapter by its top edge or upper corners and pull the adapter from the riser-card assembly.
7. If you are instructed to return the riser card assembly, follow all packaging instructions, and use any packaging materials supplied to you for shipping.
